Are you passionate about sustainability, the environment, and giving back to the community? Do you want to make a positive impact on young children's lives and the planet? If you answered any of those questions with a resounding 'YES,' then you'd be an ideal person to join Growing Hope's Mission2022 - which is a special mission in 2022, to initiate 52 food gardens and teach 52 permaculture principle classes in under-resourced South African schools. We are excited to announce that we are more than a 3rd of the way there!
We know we can only accomplish our goal if we continue to receive support of visionary and generous sponsor. We want to thank our sponsors so far, and let them know that without them, none of this would have been possible. As a result of their generosity, we have been able to plant food gardens in 17 schools already and we have 2 more sponsored and planned for when school returns after the July school break!
This is an amazing feat and that we are that much closer to reaching our goal for the year - but we are still far from 52! That's where you come in!
We invite you to learn more about the Growing Hope movement and Mission2022 and see how you can get involved. If you aren't able to outright sponsor a garden and class, are you able to come together with friends and family to do so? Could you call your favorite brand or business and see if they could sponsor one? Could you share our work with your social media followers? Could you start growing a garden adn learning about permaculture yourself? All of these actions are supportive to this Growing Hope Movement!
